We’re excited to invite you to the launch of the new arts project OUTWORK.

Over the last year, artist Sophie Huckfield has been collaborating with local women to tell their stories of their contribution to the Kenrick & Jefferson printworks in West Bromwich, through oral history interviews and creative workshops. The result is a new book, podcast and outdoor public exhibition on West Bromwich high street, that each share the stories, snippets of interviews and conversations, personal memorabilia and photographs gathered throughout the project.

Join us to celebrate the launch at West Bromwich Central library – pick up a copy of the book, listen to the podcast, meet the artist. Refreshments provided.

Drop in anytime between 1-3pm

This event is open to the general public. If you used to work at K&J, or knew someone who did, we would love it if you could join us!

OUTWORK is generously supported by Historic England’s Everyday Heritage Grants: Celebrating Working Class Histories.
