Join us on Thursday 13 July, at 5.30-8pm for the opening event of Assembly 2023 at The Wolverhampton School of Art.

Assembly 2023 is a group exhibition of sculpture, performance, moving image, visual art and installation by artists based in, or who have a strong relationship to, Sandwell and the Black Country.  The Assembly commissioning strand has been initiated as part of Multistory’s Blast Creative Network (BCN) Artist Development Programme to provide a platform and showcase for artists and collectives in the region. Multistory is presenting new and existing works by: Daya Bhatti, Susan Brisco, Thomas Jack Brown, Sukhjeven Chumber, Amelia Hawk, Shannel James, Neoliberalizard, Chantal Pitts, Isobel Scarsbrook and Natasha Stoianovska.

Also opening on the same evening, and in the same location, is the 20:20 Print Exhibition 2023. The Wolverhampton School of Art is located in the George Wallis Building; directions here.
