Travel information

The YMCA building is at the top of West Bromwich High Street, near the clocktower. Our office is on the 5th floor and there is a lift. When you arrive, please let the reception desk know you’re here and we’ll come down and collect you.

By car

The YMCA has a free car park and entry is by the side of the building but spaces can’t be reserved. For SAT NAV, the postcode is B70 9LG.

If you get a space in the YMCA car park you must put your car registration into the terminal on the reception desk when you get into the building; choose ‘conference guest’ on the menu for a maximum of 4 hours parking.

Next to the YMCA, there is free on-street parking in front of the church on Dudley Street and outside the houses along from the church. You can also turn left immediately before the Shell garage for free on-street parking on Cordley Street and on Pearson Street (which is the first left after you turn down Cordley Street).

There is an SMBC pay and display car park immediately in front of the YMCA building.

By metro

The closest stop is Dudley Street Guns Village and it takes approximately 5-6 minutes to walk to the YMCA; turn right when you leave the station and walk along Dudley Street until you see the building.

The trams run approximately every 6 to 8 minutes between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

By train

Sandwell & Dudley railway station is situated between West Bromwich and Oldbury and it’s approximately a 10 minute taxi ride. Taxis usually wait outside the station.
