Are you from, or connected to, Sandwell or the Black Country and want to learn how to make your own podcast and tell the stories that matter to you?

Multistory is offering a FREE, 12-week course where you can learn about podcasting including research, how to create a story, post-production and marketing. There are 10 places available, and it will take place between end of November 2022 and March 2023 (with a break for Christmas).

For this fourth series of Sandwell Stories, we’re going GREEN and participants can explore topics and questions that they are interested in, for example:

What are the green issues in your local area? How do our environments affect our health?  Does awareness of the environment affect what you eat? What is the impact of climate change on Sandwell communities? Are green spaces accessible to everyone?  What do you grow in your allotments or gardens?

This is a great opportunity for you to meet like-minded people; make a podcast; learn transferable skills for your CV; and tell stories you are interested in!  You’ll get the opportunity to work with podcasters, graphic designers, activists and more and your podcasts will be promoted on Soundcloud, Spotify and iTunes.

The workshops will take place predominantly in person at the Multistory office in West Bromwich, and there will be a few online using Zoom. Once we’ve recruited the group, we’ll agree a regular time and day meeting slot for the 12-week programme that suits the majority.
