Fundraising 1-to-1s for local artists

Are you an artist based in Sandwell, who is thinking of applying for funding to develop your arts practice? Currently working on an application and a bit stuck? Confused by the budget section? As part of Multistory's ambition to support more local artists in securing funding for their practice, we fund one-to-one mentoring sessions with experienced fundraiser and producer Jenny Moore.

The sessions take place online via Zoom, and you can use them to talk through any type of funding application you are working on. Whether this is an Arts Council Project Grant, a DYCP (Developing Your Creative Practice) application, or any other kind of funding commission you are working towards. These sessions are a great way to get insightful feedback on your application before you submit it!

How to apply

There are 6 spaces available, and they will be allocated first come, first served, according to eligibility; you must be currently based in Sandwell. To apply for a place, email us with some information about your practice, what you'd like to get out of the session, and your postcode.

This workshop series sits under BCN, Multistory's artist development programme, which offers artists in Sandwell and the wider Black Country a free annual programme of talks, workshops and social events and is a space for mutual support and knowledge sharing. It was set up to provide artists in the local area opportunities for critical engagement and collaboration outside of formal arts education. The BCN programme informs, and is informed by, Multistory’s wider arts programme that is produced with and by artists and communities living in Sandwell.
