Black Country Lungs is a new photo-book we have made in collaboration with Dutch photographer, Corinne Noordenbos. It tells the stories of people living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in the Black Country through photographs and first hand testimonies. For her first UK commission, Corinne observed, recorded and photographed people in hospitals and in their homes between June 2015 and May 2017.
This large hardback book is a collection of 20 photographs of individuals who tell in their own words what it means to have the disease, published in May 2018.
