New hoardings artwork in Tipton

Posted

The Tipton hoardings project celebrates the people and town of Tipton and is a collaboration between Sandwell Council, Multistory and artist Mark Murphy.

We are delighted to have worked with Sandwell Council’s Regeneration Team on a project to capture the stories and memories of people local to Tipton about their town.

The artwork on the hoardings, in the photographs, has been designed by artist Mark Murphy, in collaboration with people living in Tipton, through a workshop and discussions, about their memories of the town. We want to thank everyone for their stories and for the photographs that they have shared which have been incorporated into the final design. You can see the art work on Albion Street.
