MARKET Community Celebration

Join us at a community event taking place in Market Place to celebrate the wonderful town of Wednesbury. You can get involved in artist duo Hipkiss & Graney‘s project MARKET and make painted fabric pieces inspired by your stories and memories of Wednesbury.

There’ll be free cakes and hot drinks and you can enjoy poetry performances inspired by the town, live jazz and a brass band. All of the activities are free and you can drop in throughout the day and stay as long as you want to.

This project is part of We Are Wednesbury, the Wednesbury High Street Heritage Action Zone Cultural Programme funded by Sandwell Council and Historic England.
