Parking

Please note: there are major roadworks taking place in West Bromwich town centre which can mean roads are opened or closed at short notice.  Whichever way you approach the centre, follow the yellow signs for 'town centre parking'.  You can park in the Queen's Square multi-storey car park (number 14) accessed via Bull Street or in car park number 13 (both shown on the attached car parking map).

There is disabled parking on New Street (shown as number 12 on the attached car parking map), opposite The Public, as well as a drop-off point at the entrance to the building but again, please be aware of the extensive roadworks.

Travelling By Car

The Public is about a mile from Junction 1 of the M5 (follow the directions to West Bromwich town centre). 

Stay on the road for half a mile until you get to the traffic lights at the Trinity Way (A4031) junction. Continue ahead until you come to the next set of traffic lights (the Premier Travel Inn should be visible on your left hand side). Turn right here onto Bull Street (where you can access the Queen's Square multi-storey car park) or carry on ahead to the next set of lights to get directions to car park number 13.

By Public Transport

By Metro

The closest stop is West Bromwich Central and it’s approximately a five minute walk to The Public.  

The trams run approximately every 6 to 8 minutes between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

The Public is about a five minute walk from West Bromwich bus station.

By Train

Sandwell & Dudley railway station is situated between West Bromwich and Oldbury and is just a five minute bus or taxi ride to The Public. Taxis usually wait outside the station and the bus stop is on the main road (cross over the road to get the bus into the centre of West Bromwich).
