Multistory is extremely excited to announce The Caravan Gallery as one of our lead artists for the Blast! Festival programme.
Artist duo Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale will be touring their caravan – ‘a mobile gallery and social club on wheels’ – round the six towns of Sandwell throughout 2018, developing their Sandwell Pride of Place Project exhibition for Blast! Festival in 2019.
The Caravan Gallery will be making visits to Smethwick, Oldbury, Wednesbury, Tipton, Rowley Regis and West Bromwich between May – October 2018. Using their own photography, as well as stories, fascinating facts, objects and ephemera collected en route, Jan and Chris will work with the community to create a portrait of each town and its people. The end result will be brought together in a celebratory exhibition in West Bromwich in 2019.
Their first visit will be 6th – 13th May drop in and say hello at:

Thurs 10th May – West Bromwich Outdoor Market
Fri 11th May – Wednesbury Market
