Susan Meiselas’ A ROOM OF THEIR OWN – POP-UP INSTALLATION.

We have taken over two stalls at West Bromwich Indoor Market for our pop-up installation as part of #16DaysofActivism.  Come visit us from Saturday 25th Nov to Saturday 9th Dec 2017.  Open daily from 10am until 4pm (except Sunday).

Visit our Pop-up installation which includes a selection of digital narratives from Magnum Photographer Susan Meiselas’ A Room of Their Own, a project made in collaboration with Multistory and women in refuge. It’s a rare opportunity to see Susan’s work in the UK; she is showing work from A Room of Their Own at the Tàpies Foundation, Barcelona until 14 January 2018 and at the Jeu de Paume–Concorde in Paris, from 5 February to 20 May 2018.

Join us on one of our art workshops across the 16 days.. from going beyond a ‘Selfie’.. to making your own slogan tote bags.

Support women and children in refuge by buying an item from the market and drop it off at our donations box.  All items will be donated to refuges in time for Christmas.

While you’re there have a free portrait taken by photography students at Sandwell College and leave a ‘message of hope’ to be part of the ongoing conversation around #domesticviolence.

We look forward to seeing you there!
