When was the first time you tasted Teddy Gray’s sweets? What was it? A herbal tablet, teacake, mint humbug or perhaps a pineapple chunk? Did you used to visit one of the shops regularly? Or maybe you still do? Did you or a family member work for Teddy’s? Do you have a special memory? We want to hear from you. Please share written memories and photos with us via the Facebook group ‘Teddy Gray's Sweet Factory: Film Screening’ or email beckysexton@multistory.org.uk. Alternatively, please write by hand and post to Teddy Gray Memory, Great Bridge Library, Sheepwash Lane, Tipton DY4 7JF. A selection will be printed and displayed at the special film screening of Teddy Gray’s Sweet Factory by Martin Parr on Thursday 27 April (2 – 4pm) at Great Bridge Library, in memory of Edward Gray (1936 – 2017). For more info about the event, see www.multistory.org.uk/events or call Great Bridge Library to reserve a place: 0121 557 3277.
